Sherri Lightner, candidate for City Council District 1, lends support to San Diego citizen golfers. Sherri Lightner will:
fight to make certain that control of our municipal courses remains with the city and not outsourced to private interests
fight to make certain that 70% of tee times be given to residents at all times during the day
fight to assure that golf at Torrey Pines and other city courses remains affordable and accessible for ordinary citizens
oppose the unnecessary construction of a new club house and a tournament support building which would house private club offices
